Is only buying a big home the American Dream?

Is only buying a big home the American Dream?

Hey, my friend, let me ask you a question. Is buying the dream home the American dream? Or buying a big home for yourself is the American Dream? Welcome to Wealthy Wednesday.

Now we know the American dream is homeownership. You own the home. But you know what, there's a little bit more to that. When it comes to dreams, American Dream, means it's a huge dream. That will be owning your home, plus owning some investment properties. Without owning some investment properties and some extra income coming in, just buying your residence, is not really a dream. Because that's a liability. Any money you put towards your mortgage, that's a liability. Yeah, you do gain equity and there is a time when the house will be paid off that's separate. But in day-to-day life, there's nothing coming in.

So you have to own your home, the American dream. But to fulfill your dream, you got to own some investment properties. So that's what my goal is to inspire every homeowner to have at least one. Because once you start buying one rental property, then you buy two, then three, then four. But at least have a goal in 2022, this year, to buy one rental property. Give me a call if you have any questions. My name is Shawn Bhakta from Remax Presidential, South Florida Home Finder Team. I'm glad to help.
