Realtor success strategy - working ON the Business, not IN the Business.

Hey my friend, if you are in real estate and you want to know what is the success strategy or success theory for the super successful real estate agents? So here is one and this is working on the business, not in the business. So what is that?

In simple words, when you're working on your business, you're listening to your command means that work, that task, whatever you're doing, it was directed by you yourself. It's in your business plan and you listening to yourself. You're following your own schedule. When it's working in your business means you are following somebody else's direction. For example, a buyer calls you and says I want to see these three homes and you left everything and you went to show the property that's working in the business. That is not your direction. Or you open the email at 9 o'clock in the morning and you see an email from the mortgage broker, about need something from you. The title company needs something for you. Now it is something you're doing to service your business. But this is in the business, not on the business,  because you are listening to somebody else's direction.

Why is it a problem to work in the business and then not on the business? So when you work on your business, you have more control of your production with your flow of work, with your income stream, everything is under your control. Now if you just wait to get that direction and one day you don't get a direction, what happens? You don't do anything. On the same side, if you have certain hours, you fill that up. Hey, this is time to work on my business. I'm not opening the email, I'm not picking up my phone call, if somebody calls. Unless you're expecting someone's call and it is urgent. You put your phone on a silent airplane mode and you work on your business. That is lead generation, lead follow up and generating the business, bringing the businesses not working on the business already you have here, like the files under contract that is in the business.

So it's very important to block some times, at least two to 3 hours a day, preferably first thing in the morning working on the business and you will see how your business changes day after day, month after month, year after year. You will definitely get a huge success, huge control in your business. And the bonus thing, you'll get your time back. You do not have to pick up the phone at 8 o'clock in the morning. You do not have to pick up the phone at 09:00 in the night and ruining your family life. You will control your business. You're going to make more money, stabilized income than any other realtor because you are working on your business.
